Welcome to the Abbey Church of England, Voluntary Aided Primary School and thank you for your interest in our school. Applications for September 2019

All the information you will need to make an application for your child’s admission in September 2019 can be found below.  The Office Manager will be happy to assist with any queries related to admissions that you may have.  All applications must be supported by a supplementary admission form, which should be submitted to to the School Office.  For applications under Category 4, parents must also submit a Cathedral Form for Applicants, signed by a member of the clergy at The Cathedral and Abbey Church of St. Alban.

In Year Admissions

In the case of older children for whom application is made to join the school in other year groups, admission will be on the basis of places being available in the relevant year group. We have a Pupil Admission Number (PAN) of 30 children per year group. If there are more applicants than there are places available, the relevant admissions criteria will apply. All ‘In Year’ applications will be managed by the school, but a Supplementary Information Form (see below) is still requested along with an In Year application, which must be resubmitted every September.
